The Three Compasses is situated in the village of Upper Dean, near Rushden. This traditional country pub has all the character and charm you would expect from a 17th century inn – a thatched roof, beamed ceilings and a warming open fireplace. You will experience a relaxing welcoming environment where you can enjoy fine beers and wines, quality food and friendly service!
A lovely traditional pub in a small village and farming community. Fresh home cooked food, great beers and friendly atmosphere. Our friends had fish & chips and said that the fish was huge and went over the edge of the plate and that it was delicious. We had Sunday lunch and everything was freshly prepared and again was very nice. Pub had 3 great real ales to choose from.
We finally got back here for a lovely Saturday lunch...honestly this pub is a wee gem. Friendly staff, great open fire and the food and service is worth the visit. Adam we will return....Great you put on live music!!!
We were a large party and all enjoyed an evening meal. Most had the lasagne, which my husband enjoyed while I had the Mediterranean vegetarian flan, which was excellent. Friendly efficient service.
Just what you want from a pub. Cosy fire, traditional feel with amazing beer. The food was good as well. Great value. The land lord was very welcoming and friendly.
Every time we’ve been here, we’ve felt comfortable and had lovely food. It’s also child friendly. My fave though is the scampi, always my go to!! Good value for money
A small country pub with a brilliant atmosphere. We got to sit by the fire where our dog settled quickly under the table. Will look to have a meal next time we go
